Early Thursday morning Osceola County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to 3120 Short Leaf Pine Court in Kissimmee in reference to a domestic violence disturbance. After deputies arrived at the scene they learned that 53 year old Matthew J. Gannett had stabbed a family member and then fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries and is currently in stable condition. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Attempted Murder against Gannett, who was later arrested by the Orlando Police Department.
