Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Kissimmee man following an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material and illegal narcotics.

On June 3, 2025, after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about an individual sharing and storing child sexual abuse material on multiple social media platforms, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit launched an investigation that led to a search warrant at a home in the Crescent Lakes Subdivision, where 32-year-old Ryan Brijlal was identified as the suspect and admitted to possessing the material, citing “curiosity” as his motive.

Several electronic devices belonging to Brijlal were seized and are pending forensic examination. In addition to digital evidence, detectives discovered suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia in his bedroom.

Brijlal was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond. He faces the following charges:

  • 10 counts of Possession of Photo/Video of Sexual Performance by a Child

  • Possession of Cocaine

  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office emphasized its continued partnership with NCMEC and its commitment to aggressively investigating crimes against children.
