Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) has revealed the winners of its 31st annual student calendar art contest, celebrating the creativity of Osceola County students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The contest aims to inspire energy conservation awareness among students and their families, highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in everyday life.
This year a total of 996 entries were received from 15 Osceola County elementary schools. A panel of judges met in November and selected 12 entries – one for each calendar month – that will be featured in the utility’s 2025 Calendar of Electrical Safety.
The winners are:

The 12 winning students will have their artwork featured in this 2025 calendar and each will receive a $150 cash prize. The grand prize winner’s photos and artwork will be featured on the calendar cover and will be affixed to a KUA fleet vehicle for one year.
The grand prize winner’s school, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, will receive $750 in art supplies, and Flora Ridge Elementary will receive $500 in art supplies for submitting the most total entries in the contest.
The calendars will be distributed free of charge, beginning in January.

KUA anuncia a los ganadores del Calendario de Seguridad Eléctrica 2025
Kissimmee Utility Authority anunció hoy a los ganadores de su 31º Concurso Anual de Arte del Calendario Estudiantil. Abierto a estudiantes del condado de Osceola desde jardín de infantes hasta quinto grado, el concurso promueve la conservación de energía entre los estudiantes y sus familias.
Este año se recibieron un total de 996 entradas de 15 escuelas primarias del condado de Osceola. Un panel de jueces se reunió en noviembre y seleccionó 12 artes, una para cada mes del calendario, que se presentarán en el Calendario de Seguridad Eléctrica 2025 de la empresa de servicios públicos.

Los 12 estudiantes ganadores tendrán sus obras de arte presentadas en el calendario 2025 y cada uno recibirá un premio de $150. El nombre y la obra de arte del ganador del gran premio aparecerá en la portada del calendario y en un vehículo de la flota de KUA durante un año.
La escuela de la ganadora del gran premio, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, recibirá $750 en materiales de arte, y la Primaria Flora Ridge recibirá $500 en materiales de arte por presentar la mayor cantidad de entradas en el concurso.
Los calendarios se distribuirán de forma gratuita a partir de enero.
