Her deep roots and unwavering passion for the city fuel her mission to serve its residents with courage, boldness, and integrity.

Shafer’s connection to St. Cloud runs deep. She attended local schools including Lakeview Elementary, St. Cloud Middle School, and graduated from St. Cloud High School. Now married for 22 years, she and her husband have a 16-year-old son whom she homeschools while managing their family-owned business. With years of experience managing chiropractic offices, Shafer embodies dedication and hard work.

Wife, mother, friend, and devoted community member, Mandy will tell you “I am not a politician, I am here to put people over politics, I will work tirelessly to keep St. Cloud safe and thriving, so that our children and their children will have even more opportunity than I did.”

Shafer believes in the active participation of citizens to uphold the values of a Constitutional Republic, embodying the motivational quote by John Quincy Adams: “Duty is ours; results are God’s.” Whatever the election outcome, Mandy says she has truly enjoyed meeting with residents, listening to their concerns, joining them in their hope that St. Cloud will continue to prosper for generations to come.
