Individuals and companies from around the nation are doing their part to honor the everyday heroes keeping society healthy and moving during the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, kids play with toys that mimic their heroes.

Toy and game maker Mattel is meshing the two together, as it this week it announced the launch of #ThankYouHeroes, a special edition line of 16 collectible “Community Champions” action figures.

The Fisher-Price action figure line includes doctors, nurses, EMTs, grocery store employees and delivery drivers.

They’re available for purchase online,  and through May 31 Mattel will donate $15 of each $20 purchase to The Entertainment Industry Foundation, in support of #FirstRespondersFirst, a fund dedicated to providing essential supplies, equipment and resources for protecting front line healthcare workers and their families.

Mattel calls it “Our way of saying thanks to those on the front lines, and lending a helping hand to those who help us … We’re talking about those brave souls who carry on doing their jobs despite the risks in order to keep the rest of us safe, secure and healthy. We salute these heroes, and we think they’re pretty amazing role models for kids. Let’s play their heroism forward by lending a helping hand and sharing a little gratitude.”
