The Museum of Military History in Kissimmee will host a day of remembrance and celebration on Saturday, August 9, 2025, honoring the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The event, titled “Keep the Spirit of ’45 Alive,” will celebrate and commemorate the bravery and service of our nation’s WWII veterans.

Located at 5210 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, the museum will offer a full day of activities, starting with a free daytime event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can enjoy free museum admission, explore historical exhibits, connect with veterans resources, and browse a variety of vendors.

In the evening, a paid dinner event begins at 6:30 p.m., offering an opportunity for guests to further honor the legacy of the Greatest Generation. Tickets are priced at $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight.

With 2025 marking eight decades since the end of World War II, the event aims to not only preserve the memory of those who served but also to educate and inspire future generations.
