The celebration will take place at the historic Grand Army of the Republic Hall, located at 1101 Massachusetts Avenue in St. Cloud.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors are invited to experience a free Vietnam War museum exhibit, offering an opportunity to reflect on the history of the conflict, the experiences of those who served, and the lasting impact of their military service.
The evening’s highlight will be the Welcome Home Vietnam Dinner, scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., providing an opportunity for veterans, their families, friends, and community members to gather in appreciation of those who answered the call to serve.
Dinner reservations are available for $75 per person or $600 for a table of eight.
For many Vietnam veterans, returning home from military service was a difficult experience, often without the recognition and appreciation afforded to veterans of other conflicts. Events such as “Welcome Home Vietnam” provide an important opportunity for communities to express their gratitude, acknowledge their sacrifices, and ensure their service is never forgotten.
The Museum of Military History is dedicated to preserving military history, educating future generations, and honoring the service and sacrifices of America’s veterans. Through exhibits, educational programs, and community events, the museum continues its mission of connecting residents and visitors with the stories of those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
All proceeds from the event will support the mission of the Museum of Military History, helping sustain its educational and veteran recognition initiatives.
Community members, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate, attend the dinner, or explore sponsorship opportunities in support of this meaningful tribute.
For dinner reservations, sponsorship information, or additional details, contact the Museum of Military History at 407-301-8424 or email militarymuseum192@gmail.com.
The November 21 celebration promises to be more than a tribute to military history. It will be an opportunity for Osceola County and the Central Florida community to come together and deliver a message that every Vietnam veteran deserves to hear:
Welcome home, and thank you for your service.
