A new ramp from northbound State Road 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) to Landstar Boulevard (Exit 14) is now officially open.  The new ramp is located approximately one mile before the old exit, which is now permanently closed, according to the Central Florida Expressway Authority.

Drivers who miss the new exit ramp will be able to use the next exit ramp at Boggy Creek Road (Exit 17B). Additionally, drivers traveling from Florida’s Turnpike to northbound SR 417 will now have to decide, before entering SR 417, to either keep left to continue to SR 417 or keep right to exit onto Landstar Boulevard.

Navigation services in vehicles or on phones such as Waze, Apple Maps and Google Maps may not be updated with this change. As a result, motorists are advised to follow the roadway signs and not the instructions from their devices.

Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.

This work is for a capacity improvements project on SR 417 from John Young Parkway to Landstar Boulevard, which started in March 2021 and is expected to be complete in spring 2024.
