Positively Osceola, the leading source for news in Osceola County witnessed nine recruits being sworn in as Kissimmee Police Officers during the City of Kissimmee’s Commissioner’s Meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
With the addition of these nine new officers, the Kissimmee Police Department now has a total of 147 sworn officers who put their lives on the line to serve and protect Osceola County every day.
Family and friends showed support as the recruits said the vows and were sworn in by Kissimmee Police Chief O’Dell. Christopher Breuer, Sergeant of Training and Recruiting was also present during the ceremony to welcome each of the new officers to the Kissimmee Police Department team.
