One killed, one injured in crash on SR 417 near Turnpike that shutdown southbound lanes for hours

A fatal crash on SR 417 east of the Florida Turnpike has closed southbound lanes from Landstar Boulevard to past Boggy Creek Road, according to the FHP and Florida 511.

As of 9 am, southbound lanes are closed, according to Florida 511.

Look for alternate routes and please use caution as southbound lanes begin to reopen.
