In the Summer of 2021, Orlando Health will open a three-story, 42,000-square-foot freestanding emergency room, provided as a service of Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital on a 15-acre campus at the northeast corner of Dowden Road and Randal Park Boulevard in the Lake Nona area, with exam rooms on the first floor and future expansion space on the second and third floors.
The stand-alone emergency room will include up to 12 treatment rooms, a lab, an imaging department, ambulance bays, and a helipad, along with parking and supporting infrastructure.
Future expansion could include a combination of physician practices and ancillary services such as lab, imaging center, and pharmacy.
