In a continuing effort to support youth in Central Florida, the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) has awarded a generous $50,000 grant to the Education Foundation of Osceola County. This funding will directly support the Foundation’s Bookmark Buddies program, a vital local initiative that provides one-on-one mentorship for struggling readers, ensuring students receive the personalized help they need to succeed.

Since moving from Lakeland to Osceola County last year, the Osceola Magic have been committed to investing in the local community. The team’s President, Hans Steinbrenner, along with the Magic’s popular mascot, Swish, were part of the grant presentation, highlighting the strong partnership between the Osceola Magic and the Education Foundation.

The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation has a long-standing tradition of supporting at-risk children in Central Florida, focusing on education and empowerment. This latest contribution aligns with OMYF’s mission to help children reach their full potential.

For those interested in supporting local Osceola County education initiatives, donations can be made directly through the Education Foundation of Osceola County’s website.

As the Osceola Magic gear up for their second season at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, fans can purchase season passes and single-game tickets through the official Osceola Magic website.
