The City of Kissimmee Gateway Airport will host its second Annual Food Truck Fly-In on September 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering an engaging blend of aviation excitement and culinary delights.
In partnership with the Latino Pilots Association (LPA), this year’s event will showcase a variety of aircraft, including several flight training planes. Participants will have the opportunity to explore these aircraft and learn about career opportunities in aviation from participating businesses.
In conjunction with the aviation exhibits, the event will feature a selection of food trucks offering a range of culinary options. Attendees can expect a variety of food choices, from gourmet dishes to international cuisine.
Family-oriented activities will be available, including a hydration station provided by Toho Water Authority with their mascot, Hydro. The Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) will present their “SunCatcher” display, and MaxFlight Helicopters will offer helicopter rides.
Parking for the Food Truck Fly-In will be available along M.L.K. Jr. Blvd in Kissimmee. The event will take place at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport, located at at 401 Dyer Blvd. inKissimmee, and is supported by sponsors including GoJets Airlines, Experience Kissimmee, Toho Water Authority, Kissimmee Utility Authority, and the Latino Pilots Association.
