Osceola Arts in Kissimmee will host a variety of shows through the end of October.

Dogfight, with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and based on the book by Peter Duncan, runs the weekends of Oct. 25 and Nov. 3, with show times at 730 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

The musical takes place in 1963 San Francisco and tells the story of a young soldier looking for a last-minute date to a party. An odd spur-of-the-moment invitation ends in a timeless lesson of love and compassion. Directed by Randy Tapper, this musical features a cast of talented actors who are excited to bring this story to life. Tickets start at $25, with senior, student and group rates available. Show times for Dogfight are 7:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 2 pm on Sundays. This show contains is recommended for mature audiences only.

Among other season events this month:

Professional vocal group Take Note: A Vocal Collective will host Happy Halloween: A Musical Tribute on Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. The will cover spooky Halloween songs from Rocky Horror Show to The Nightmare Before Christmas and everything in between. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

The Big Band Fall Concert will be Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. This is a 90-minute free concert that will feature a multitude of jazz classics.

For those seeking Halloween entertainment, The Rat Pack Undead will hold shows on Oct. 31 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. This traveling show features the infamous crooners who are back from the dead and putting a spooky spin on some of their biggest hits. Tickets begin at $20.
