The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) has arrested Jamika Spencer, 29, and Nicholas Rivera, 33, in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries reported at H2O Water Park earlier this summer, and discovered a two-year-old child unharmed in the suspects’ vehicle during the arrest.

In July, OCSO received multiple reports from both locals and tourists who discovered their vehicles had been burglarized after visiting the popular Kissimmee water park. Detectives identified a suspect and began surveillance as part of an ongoing investigation.

On August 13, 2025, detectives observed a male and female leaving a residence in a 2025 grey Hyundai and driving to H2O Water Park. The male passenger exited the vehicle, speaking on the phone, and was seen attempting to open several parked cars, gaining entry to one that was unlocked. The female driver remained in the Hyundai, allegedly acting as a lookout while on the phone with the male suspect.

After locating the victim, who wished to press charges, detectives continued tracking the suspects from the air as they drove toward Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. When the suspects spotted law enforcement, they attempted to leave the area, but the OCSO Aviation Unit maintained visual contact until ground units could perform a tactical vehicle takedown.

Both Spencer and Rivera face charges of burglary to a conveyance and child neglect. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine if the pair is connected to other recent vehicle burglaries in the area.
