Smiles, music, and a strong sense of tradition filled Old Town on Sunday as the Osceola Chamber of Commerce hosted its 32nd annual Three Kings Day Osceola celebration, drawing families from across Osceola County for a vibrant day honoring culture, heritage, and community.

Held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Old Town in Kissimmee, the popular annual event celebrated Three Kings Day—also known as Día de los Reyes—a holiday observed in many countries around the world, particularly throughout Latin America. The celebration recognizes the Three Wise Men who, according to tradition, brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the newborn Jesus.

Throughout the morning and early afternoon, live music set a festive tone as families enjoyed free treats, toy giveaways, and opportunities to participate in raffles for bicycles and tablets. Children and parents alike gathered near the stage, danced to the music, and explored booths hosted by local businesses and community partners.

One of the highlights of this year’s celebration was the opportunity for children and families to meet and feed live camels, offering a memorable, hands-on experience that helped bring the story of the Three Kings to life.

The event once again highlighted the Osceola Chamber’s commitment to celebrating the diverse cultures that make up the county while providing family-friendly programming that brings the community together.

Three Kings Day, traditionally observed on January 6, is an important holiday in many Latin cultures, particularly for children, who historically receive gifts on this day. The celebration actually predates modern Christmas traditions and remains deeply rooted in faith, folklore, and family.

Sunday’s celebration once again demonstrated how tradition, culture, and community spirit come together in Osceola County—creating lasting memories for families and reinforcing the county’s rich cultural tapestry.
