On the evening of Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at 8:05 PM, deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Sevilla Plaza located at 4636 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in reference to a stabbing. The victim, who sustained a large laceration to his throat was taken to a local hospital by a witness where he remains in critical but stable condition and currently unable to provide a statement.

Osceola County Sherrif’s deputies were able to identify the suspect as, Sidney Tijon Ward, who initially fled the scene. Ward eventually arrived at the hospital and was treated for a laceration on his hand. He was interviewed and cooperated with the investigation, admitting to cutting/hitting the victim with a knife during an altercation with the victim in the parking lot of the Sevilla Plaza. Ward was arrested and at this time been charged with attempted murder.
