Osceola County and District 1 Commissioner Peggy Choudhry are partnering with great organizations to provide free back-to-school backpacks and supplies to students in Osceola County, on Saturday, July 31 at 10 am at 700 Union Street in Kissimmee while supplies last.

The pandemic has certainly changed how we live our lives day to day, but the county’s and Commissioner Choudhry’s commitment to supporting students and families as they prepare for academic success in the 20212-2022 school year has been unwavering.

Saturday’s backpack giveaway event will be a drive-thru to ensure the safety of the students and their families, sponsors, and volunteers.

Participants are encouraged to remain in their vehicles while volunteers place the backpacks in the vehicle’s trunk. Supplies will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis and the student MUST be present to receive a backpack.
