Osceola County public and charter school boys basketball teams will begin play in district tournaments Monday.
Osceola, the only No. 1 seed among the seven tournaments teams are in, will begin the climb back up the mountain to the state tournament. The Kowboys won the Class 9A state title (they pared back to seven classes this year) in 2017 and 2019.

Here are the games involving county teams:

7A-5: Tohopekaliga (No. 6) vs. Boone (3) at Lake Nona, Tuesday at 6 p.m.
7A-6: Haines City (5) at Celebration (4), Monday at 7 p.m.; winner vs. Osceola (1) at Celebration, Wednesday at 7; Championship at Celebration, Friday at 7 p.m.
6A-5: Harmony (6) at Viera (3), Tuesday at 6 p.m.; winner vs Sebastian River (2) at Melbourne, 5:30 p.m.; East River (5) at St. Cloud (4), Tuesday 6 p.m.; Winner at Melbourne (1), Wednesday at 7; Championship at Melbourne, Friday at 7 p.m.
6A-6: Liberty (6) at Poinciana (3), Tuesday at 6 p.m.; winner at Winter Haven (2), Tuesday at 7:30; Championship at Bartow, Friday at 7:30 p.m.
5A-8: Heritage (5) at Gateway (4), Monday at 6 p.m.; winner vs. Rockledge (1) at Bayside, Wednesday at 5 p.m.; Championship at Bayside, Friday at 7.
3A-9: New Dimensions (5) at Four Corners Charter (4), Monday at 7; winner vs. Santa Fe Catholic (1, MaxPreps’ top-ranked team in the state) at Lakeland Christian, 7:30.

2A-11: City of Life (4) vs. All Saints at Orlando Christian Prep, Monday at 5:30; winner at OCP (1); Tuesday at 7 p.m.

FLORIDA CHRISTIAN CONFERENCE: North Kissimmee Christian (25-8) will play in the second round of the FCC playoffs Tuesday, with semifinals Thursday and the state championship Saturday.
