Osceola County Sheriff Detectives arrested a Kissimmee man on Thursday for possession of child pornography.
27-year-old Joel Quiles-Rodriguez was arrested and charged with 20 counts of Possession of Photo/Video of Sexual Performance by a Child.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about an incident regarding child sexual abuse photographs and videos. Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children unit began an investigation and on September 18 served a search warrant at Quiles-Rodriguez where Detectives found multiple videos and photos of young children being sexually abused.
Based on evidence obtained during the investigation, Quiles-Rodriguez was carrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with a $50,000.00 bond. He has since bonded out of jail.
