A 55-year-old man was arrested for the rape of an 18-year-old woman who was delivering pizza in Kissimmee on Sunday.
Osvaldo Figueroa is accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in an elevator of an apartment complex on Lepic Lane in Osceola County, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
He is currently facing one count of sexual battery but has been arrested 70 times with multiple convictions, according to Sheriff Lopez.
“A guy like that, a prolific offender, needs to go to prison for a long long time. This guy should have been in prison, today, not sure what’s wrong with the system,” Osceola Sheriff Marcos Lopez said Tuesday night.
Figueroa was tracked down and arrested in Lakeland by U.S. Marshalls and Osceola detectives and is set to see a judge later today in Osceola County.
