Osceola Sheriff Deputies arrested a man in Kissimmee on January 28 for entering a home, pointing a gun at the family’s heads, and threatening to kill them, including their children,  if they didn’t give him money.

On January 28, just before 11:30 pm, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported home invasion in Kissimmee. Once on the scene, Deputies were informed by the victims that a man entered the home, pointed a firearm to their heads, and demanded money.

During the incident, the suspect fired a warning shot, threatened to kill the victims and their children.
Osceola investigators identified as Orlando Pileta-Ramirez. Pileta-Ramirez denied being involved and was arrested for Home Invasion with a Firearm, Shooting Deadly Missile into an Occupied Dwelling, False Imprisonment, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Firearm). He was booked into the Osceola County Jail on zero bond.
