The list of candidates for the Osceola School District’s Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year awards has been narrowed down to the top ten finalists in each category. These exceptional individuals were each greeted with an unexpected visit from Superintendent Dr. Mark Shanoff, who personally delivered the exciting announcement.

The following educators have been named as the top ten finalists for Teacher of the Year:

Vanessa Gomez – Osceola Technical Education College, Medical Assistant Instructor
Nicole Grayek – Canoe Creek K-8, Math and Science Coach
Brianna Kraus – Hickory Tree Elementary, Avid Coordinator
Kimberly Molineaux – St. Cloud Elementary, Music Teacher
Nancy Rivera – East Lake Elementary, Dual Language Teacher

Dawn Parker – Tohopekaliga High, Executive Secretary
William Skerrett Cruz – Purchasing/Warehouse, Warehouse Supervisor
Angela Stein – Media and Instructional Technology, Learning Management Systems Supervisor
Christine Tilford – Harmony Community School, Paraprofessional

The panel of judges chose the finalists by evaluating their applications. The announcement of who will be named the district’s Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year will take place during the annual Education Awards ceremony. This event is scheduled for March 6, 2024, at Osceola Heritage Park.


Finalistas nombrados Maestro del Año y Empleado Escolar del Año del Distrito Escolar de Osceola
