During the July 13 School District of Osceola County Board meeting, the board approved the following administrative appointments:
Dr. La Tonia Harris, Assistant Principal at Harmony High School
Dr. La Tonia Harris has held the following positions: Teacher in Orange County Public Schools (1995-1997); Teacher, Curriculum Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal in Miami-Dade County Public Schools (1999-2014); Principal for Charter Schools USA (2014-2019); Principal of BridgePrep Academy of Osceola (2019-2020); and Learning Resource Specialist for the Osceola School District (2020-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University and both a master’s degree and doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
John Armour, Assistant Principal at Celebration High School
John Armour has held the following positions: Teacher at Horizon Middle (2007-2008); Teacher at Narcoossee Community K-8 School (2008-2009); Teacher at Narcoossee Elementary (2009-2010); Teacher at East Lake Elementary (2010-2012); Teacher and Dean of Students at Bellalago Academy (2012-2018); and Dean of Students at Celebration High (2018-present). He received his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.
