The nominees for the Osceola School District’s top employee awards — Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year — have been narrowed down to the top ten finalists in each category. The final awards will be presented at the school district’s 2020 Education Awards March 12 at ChampionsGate Resort.

The following educators have been named as the top ten finalists for Osceola School District’s 2021 Teacher of the Year Award:

William Carswell – Music Teacher at Osceola County School for the Arts
Brian Joseph– Media Specialist at Harmony Middle
Jonathan Motta – Geometry and Algebra II Honors Teacher at NeoCity Academy
Crystal Nori-Gross – ASD Teacher at St. Cloud Elementary
Heather Rasmussen – 4th and 5th Grade ESE Inclusion Teacher at Kissimmee Elementary
Rachel Smith – AVID Teacher at St. Cloud Middle
Erica Stewart – VE Teacher at Central Avenue Elementary
Darrian Tanner – English Teacher at Liberty High
Vincent Vecchio – Social Studies Teacher at Horizon Middle
