If you’d like to have an impact on the children of the School District of Osceola County every day, then the school district wants to make an impact on you — with employment.

The district’s Transportation Department will hold a job fair on Thursday (Jan. 16) from 8 a.m. to noon at its Transportation depot location at 401 Simpson Road, just south of Osceola Technical College and PATHS. It is currently hiring bus drivers and attendants.

The district encourages those in the community who are looking for employment with a stable organization, enjoy working with children and prefer flexible hours to come apply, and go through the interview process that day.

In the state of Florida, a school bus operator shall have a minimum of five years of licensed driving experience (Class E License) or hold a Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B CDL with a Passenger endorsement. The district will have all information on that, as well as background and driving record screenings, on Thursday.

For information call the Transportation department at 407-518-4540.
