The School District of Osceola County, along with Draper Law Office and Positively Osceola kicked off their 2018 Featured Teacher events in high fashion, with the selection of Kristin Martin, one of our Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) teachers at Partin Settlement Elementary School.

Mrs. Martin goes above and beyond to advocate for her students. From one on one assistance to writing grants, Kristin is always looking for ways to not only help her students but all students. She makes sure that Partin Settlement Elementary’s DHH program runs effectively by monitoring DHH students, interpreters, and providing maximum support to the Regular Education teachers.

Not only does she provide support to the students and teachers but also the families they serve through parent nights which provide resources and access to programs which help the parents of their DHH students to help assist their student to be successful both at school and at home.

Congratulations to Kristen Martin… the January 2018 Featured Teacher of the Month!
