On Saturday, St. Cloud’s beautiful Lakefront was filled with hope, a spirit of community, and a collective determination to make a difference for those valiantly battling cancer, for the abominable spirit of those who are survivors, and to remember the courageous friends and family members who are no longer with us.
Pinktoberfest 2023, organized by Pink Heals of St. Cloud, was more than just an event – it was a symbol of solidarity and hope for all those affected by cancer. The Lakefront transformed into a bustling hub of activity, brimming with an array of vendors, positively delicious food truck fare, an assortment of engaging activities for all ages, and of course, one of the most anticipated highlights of Pinktoberfest, the renowned Pink Firetruck Truck Pull competition, a spirited event that encapsulates the spirit of resilience and camaraderie.

Participants and spectators alike witnessed the awe-inspiring spectacle of teams uniting to pull a vibrant pink firetruck, symbolizing the strength and unity essential in the fight against cancer. This competition serves as a powerful reminder that when communities come together, they can accomplish the extraordinary.
Here are the results of this year’s Pinktoberfest Pink Firetruck Truck Pull competition:
1st Place: St. Cloud Fire Rescue – 18:28 sec
2nd Place: The Home Depot – 19:12 sec.
3rd Place: The Volunteers – JTLP 20:48 sec.
These were the three top finishers in time, but every single person that attended the event, volunteered at the event, organized the event, or contributed in any way, was a winner, and part of the passion for those affected by cancer. Their unwavering dedication to the cause exemplifies the true spirit of community engagement and philanthropy, underscoring the significance of coming together for a greater good.
