Elementary     
English/Language Arts (ELA):
* Fourth grade ELA scores increased by 3 points
*Twelve schools increased 3rd grade ELA FSA scores, 17 schools increased 4th grade ELA FSA scores, and 11 schools increased 5th grade ELA FSA scores

School highlights:

  • Boggy Creek Elementary improved 3rd grade ELA scores by 23 points
  • Hickory Tree Elementary improved 4th grade ELA scores by 12 points
  • Kissimmee Elementary improved 4th grade ELA scores by 16 points
  • Cypress Elementary improved 5th grade ELA scores by 16 points
  • Lakeview Elementary improved 5th grade ELA scores by 15 points
  • Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts improved 4th grade ELA scores by 13 points
  • Deerwood Elementary improved 5th grade ELA scores by 12 points
  • Reedy Creek Elementary improved 5th grade ELA scores by 11 points

Mathematics:
*Third grade math scores increased 3 points
*Fifteen schools increased 3rd grade math scores, 12 schools increased 4th grade math scores, and 10 schools increased 5th grade math scores

  • Deerwood Elementary improved 3rd grade math scores by 30 points and 5th grade math scores by 11 points>/li>
  • Boggy Creek Elementary improved 3rd grade math scores by 26 points and 4th grade math scores by 13 points
  • East Lake Elementary improved 5th grade math scores by 18 points
  • Central Avenue Elementary improved 3rd grade math scores by 17 points
  • Lakeview Elementary improved 5th grade math scores by 14 points
  • Partin Settlement Elementary and Sunrise Elementary improved 3rd grade math scores by 13 points

Science:

*Thirteen schools increased 5th grade science scores

School highlights:

  • Cypress Elementary improved 5th grade science scores by 22 points
  • Reedy Creek Elementary improved 5th grade science scores by 8 points
  • Deerwood Elementary improved 5th grade science scores by 10 points
  • Mill Creek Elementary improved 5th grade science scores by 10 pointsMiddle

English/Language Arts (ELA):
*Sixth grade ELA scores increased 2 points
*Seventh grade ELA scores increased 1 point
*Nine middle schools improved pass rates on the 6th grade ELA FSA and nine middle schools increased pass rates on the 7th grade ELA FSA

  • Denn John Middle improved 7th grade ELA scores by 7 points
  • Horizon Middle improved 7th grade ELA scores by 6 points

Mathematics:
*Sixth grade math scores increased 2 points
*Seventh grade math scores increased 1 point
*Eighth grade math scores increased 4 points
*Six middle schools improved pass rates on the 6th grade math FSA, eight middle schools increased their pass rates on the 7th grade math FSA, and nine middle schools increased their pass rates on the 8th grade math FSA

School highlights:

  • Denn John Middle improved 8th grade math scores by 26 points
  • Discovery Intermediate improved 7th grade math scores by 17 points

Science:
*Six middle schools increased their pass rate on the 8th grade science FSA
*School highlights:

  • St. Cloud Middle improved science scores by 10 points

End of Course (EOC):
*Civics scores increased 4 points
*Six middle schools increased pass rates on the Algebra EOC
*Four middle schools increased pass rates on the Geometry EOC
*Six middle schools increased their pass rate on the Civics EOC

School highlights:

    • Celebration K-8 had 100% pass the Algebra EOC
    • Kissimmee Middle had 100% pass the Geometry EOC
    • The following schools had 100% pass rates on the Biology EOC: Denn John Middle, Discovery Intermediate, Narcoossee Middle, Parkway Middle, Bellalago Academy, Celebration K-8, Harmony Community, and Westside K-8.

High School
*Geometry scores increased 5 points
*US History scores increased 2 points – six schools increased US History scores
*Four schools increased 9th grade ELA scores and four schools increased 10th grade ELA scores

School highlights:

  • Poinciana High School improved Biology EOC scores by 4 points
  • St. Cloud High School improved 9th grade ELA scores by 13 points
  • Harmony High School improved Geometry EOC scores by 14 points
  • Osceola High School improved Geometry EOC scores by 9 points
