In a move toward greater inclusivity, SeaWorld Orlando has launched ASL Saturdays, a monthly program designed to enhance the park experience for guests who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing beginning Saturday March 1.

Taking place on the first Saturday of every month, this initiative ensures that visitors can fully enjoy SeaWorld’s shows and attractions with the help of live American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters.

SeaWorld has partnered with American Sign Language Services (ASLS), a well-respected interpretation provider, to make the park’s most popular performances, presentations, and guest interactions fully accessible. Designated interpretation seating areas at key venues allow guests to experience the action with clear sightlines to interpreters, making it easier to follow along with live entertainment and educational presentations.

How ASL Saturdays Work

  • Interpreted Shows & Attractions – ASL interpreters will be available during select shows, presentations, and animal encounters throughout the park.
  • Welcome Center Assistance – From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, an interpreter will be present at the Welcome Center to assist guests in planning their visit.
  • Designated Seating – Specific seating areas will be marked to provide optimal viewing of ASL interpreters during shows.
  • First Saturday of Every Month – ASL Saturdays are available to all guests with regular park admission at no additional charge.

SeaWorld Orlando encourages guests to check the show schedule upon arrival or consult the SeaWorld mobile app to plan their day around ASL-interpreted performances.

By introducing ASL Saturdays, SeaWorld continues its commitment to making world-class marine life entertainment and education accessible to everyone.
