ORLANDO, Fla. — Summer nights at SeaWorld Orlando are about to get louder, brighter, and more electrifying as the park prepares to launch one of its biggest summer entertainment lineups ever beginning June 12.
From an all-new drone spectacular and returning nighttime animal presentations to fireworks, cirque-style performances, immersive lighting environments, and high-energy dance parties, SeaWorld Orlando is transforming its park into a full-scale nighttime celebration for the summer season.
At the center of it all is the return of Electric Ocean, SeaWorld Orlando’s signature summer event that takes over the park after sunset with music, lights, live entertainment, and family-friendly experiences around nearly every corner.
“This summer, SeaWorld is raising the bar across the country—combining really enjoyable and fun nighttime shows and presentations, cutting-edge drone displays, exciting new experiences and nonstop family fun,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts, SeaWorld’s parent company.
An All-New Drone Spectacular Takes Over the Night Sky
One of the biggest additions this summer will be SeaWorld Orlando’s brand-new drone spectacular, featuring hundreds of synchronized drones soaring above the park to create glowing ocean-inspired scenes, sea creatures, rolling waves, and vibrant animations choreographed to music.
The nighttime experience will lead directly into the enhanced return of “Ignite: A Fireworks Spectacular,” combining fireworks, fountains, lighting, and immersive effects into a massive 360-degree nighttime finale over the park’s central lagoon.
Fan-Favorite Nighttime Animal Shows Return
SeaWorld Orlando is also bringing back several fan-favorite nighttime animal presentations with updated energy, lighting, music, and storytelling elements.
“Shamu Celebration: Light Up The Night” returns to Orca Stadium with vibrant visuals, music, and choreography celebrating the beauty and power of killer whales in a festival-style nighttime atmosphere.
Meanwhile, “Sea Lions Tonite” promises even more comedy, personality, and surprises as SeaWorld’s popular sea lions once again take center stage in one of the park’s longtime guest favorites.
“Dolphins: Touch the Sky” will showcase playful bottlenose dolphins through inspiring storytelling, music, and dynamic aerial performances celebrating the connection between humans and marine life.
Hydro Surge and Club SeaGlow Bring New Energy
New this summer, “Hydro Surge” will deliver a pulse-pounding cirque-style spectacular blending acrobatics, dancers, live percussion, and industrial-inspired visuals into an immersive performance driven by the energy of the ocean.
Guests looking for a more upbeat party atmosphere can also experience “Club SeaGlow,” a nighttime DJ dance party featuring music, lighting effects, performers, and interactive entertainment throughout the evening.
More New Experiences Still to Come
In addition to its summer entertainment lineup, SeaWorld Orlando says guests can also look forward to the debut of “Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice,” a new attraction experience exploring some of the planet’s most powerful and extreme natural environments.
Park officials also teased the future debut of another all-new animal presentation expected to be announced later this summer.
As Central Florida prepares for another busy summer tourism season, SeaWorld Orlando’s expanded lineup aims to give guests even more reasons to stay after dark and experience a completely transformed park atmosphere filled with lights, music, entertainment, and marine-inspired nighttime excitement.
For guests wanting to experience everything SeaWorld Orlando has planned this summer, the park says a SeaWorld Annual Pass offers the best value and flexibility throughout the season. Pass Members receive unlimited visits, along with benefits that can include special savings on merchandise and dining, reserved seating, Quick Queue access, and more depending on pass level.
SeaWorld also continues its longtime focus on marine-life education, conservation, and animal rescue efforts, with the company noting it has helped rescue more than 42,000 animals over the years.
Electric Ocean officially begins June 12 on select nights throughout the summer season.
