The Osceola Sheriff’s Office is looking for a sex offender who cut off his GPS ankle monitor on Tuesday and is now on the run.

On Tuesday morning, just before noon, registered Sex Offender, 31-year-old Jarel William Hurley
cut off his GPS ankle monitor and left the area. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Hurley was last seen in the area of Thacker Avenue heading westbound on Vine Street in Kissimmee wearing a light blue tee shirt with black trim, jean shorts, ankle socks and sneakers. His right and left arms are full sleeve tattoos.

Hurley has musical notes tattooed behind his ear, on the fingers of his left hand are the letters “F-A-M-E” and on the fingers of his right hand are the letters “5-F-P-D.”

A warrant is being sought for his arrest in reference to Tampering with a Monitoring Device and Violation of Probation.
