A 50-year-old man from St. Cloud fatally struck the Three Lakes toll plaza Friday night.
Just before 10 pm on Saturday night, a 50-year-old man from St. Cloud was driving southbound on Florida’s Turnpike when he attempted to exit at the Three Lake Toll Plaza. The driver failed to slow down as he approached the toll plaza and struck the plaza at full speed, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the crash is still under investigation.
