The City of St Cloud and the St Cloud Chapter of Pink Heals will once again lead the local battle against Cancer with its Pinktoberfest that will take place in Downtown St. Cloud with a goal of “Painting the Town Pink” Friday October 12th – Sunday October 14th. Beginning with an exciting Street Party Friday night from 6:30pm to 10pm there will be LIVE music amping up the weekend’s festivities. At 7pm there will be a special “Paint Night in the Park” to raise funds for the St. Cloud Chapter of Pink Heals.
On Saturday morning the event kicks back in at 10am with a kids zone, exhibitor and vendor area and a Pink Pooch Pageant. The Beer Garden will open at 11am in preparation for everyone’s favorite, the Pink Truck Pull Competition. Over 100 participants will team up to do their best to pull “Kris” the St. Cloud Pink Heals’ Pink Firetruck beginning at 1:30pm. At 3pm the event moves into a silent auction, focused on raising funds to fight cancer and to care for those who are battling this terrible disease.
The final day of Pinkertoberfest 2018 will commence at 9am with free Yoga in the Park, followed by Zumba in the Park, exhibitors, vendors and a Kids Art Auction at noon.
The event will end at 2pm on Sunday but the heart and mission behind Pink Heals will continue on until the battle over cancer ends, and we are victorious in ending its terrible affect on so many precious lives in our community!
