Kissimmee Utility Authority has launched a new mobile-friendly account management portal, where customers are able to more easily access their accounts.

The my.kua.com portal puts some of the most common functions associated with customer accounts in one place at their fingertips, such as viewing and paying bills and reviewing past consumption to setting up high usage alert notifications to help them stay within budget. Customers can also report outages, view an outage map, and start, stop and transfer electric service from the portal. It’s all accessible 24 hours a day.

Thanks to end-to-end encryption as well as user authentication and time-outs to ensure that only authorized users obtain access,  the portal keeps customer security and privacy at the forefront, with which means both customer and utility information remain protected and secure.

Detailed usage breakdowns can be broken down to 15-minute increments, and weather data shows how changes impact usage. Historical markers, such as noting how insulation or new appliances, impact usage. It’s all in the name of better managing utility costs.
