Either way, there’s a lot of high-stakes district soccer and girls basketball tournament games going on this week in Osceola County.
Here’s the all-encompassing schedule. Keep in mind most district semifinals and all the championships are at a specified (maybe neutral) site. In general, tickets are $6.
Monday
Girls and boys soccer: Poinciana at Tohopekaliga (7A-5), girls 5:30, boys 7:30
Girls soccer: Liberty at New Smyrna Beach (6A-9), 7 p.m.
Boys soccer: Liberty at East River (6A-9), 7 p.m.
Girls basketball: Celebration at Osceola (7A-6), 7 p.m.; Poinciana at Edgewater (6A-6), 7:30; Gateway vs Eau Gallie at Heritage (5A-8), 4:30;
Tuesday
Girls soccer: Freedom at Celebration (7A-6), 7 p.m.;
Boys soccer: Harmony vs Viera (6A-12) at Melbourne, 5 p.m.
(The Longhorns reached the district semifinal with a 4-1 win Friday over Martin County, thanks to building a 3-0 halftime edge.)
