On Wednesday afternoon three teens from Orlando were placed under arrest after being pursued by law enforcement from Tampa to Osceola County that ended in a car crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Around 1 p.m. Tampa police notified Florida Highway Patrol that a stolen SUV had been involved in a burglary, according to FHP Sgt. Steve Gaskins. The SUV entered I4 heading toward Orlando. Once the teens entered Polk County FHP troopers took over pursuit.

With FHP in pursuit the teens exited I-4 at the U.S. 27 exit and headed north. The teens continued with FHP in pursuit on U.S. 192 and struck a pickup truck after driving through a red light near the Four Corners area in Osceola.

FHP arrested the 16-year-old driver of the SUV, who was critically injured. The two passengers, ages 18 and 19 were also arrested.

The 67-year-old man from Davenport who was driving the pickup truck was critically injured. The drivers of the other two vehicles sustained minor injuries, according to FHP. The crash remains under investigation.
