Teachers play a pivotal role in our children’s lives. They inspire a lifelong love of learning and discovery. They are constantly making a difference in the well-being and long-term success of our little ones and helping our older ones mature and grow into the future leaders of tomorrow.

Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day, also known as National Teacher Day, which is observed on the Tuesday of the first full week in May.  This day is part of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5th – 11th), which is the first full week in May of each year.

The National Education Association describes National Teacher Day  as a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives.”
