This weekend be sure to grab your boots and cowboy hat and head out to the 143rd Silver Spurs Rodeo at the Silver Spurs Arena at 7:30 PM on May 31st and June 1st which kicks off with Mutton Bustin’ plus all our other rodeo favorites!

The Silver Spurs Rodeo has been an Osceola County tradition since 1944, which is put on by the Silver Spurs Riding Club every February and June.

This June, the 143rd Silver Spurs Rodeo will be hosting its summer evening rodeos and fans will be treated to seven of rodeo’s traditional events: bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, women’s barrel racing, steer wrestling and team roping.

Unique to the June rodeo is the junior barrel racing and junior bull riding events, starring teenagers brave enough to start their rodeo careers at Silver Spurs Arena! Plus, everyone’s favorite before the performance, mutton bustin’ (also known as sheep racing)!

“Every summer, the Silver Spurs Rodeo is always how our community kicks off the summer break from school, highlighting our local youth in bull riding, barrel racing, and Quadrille,” said Chris Fluke, Big Boss of the Silver Spurs Rodeo. “This being our 75th year of rodeo in Osceola County, we hope you will join us for our town’s longest-running tradition.”

In between the seven traditional rodeo events, guests can also see acts throughout the night from our rodeo clowns, witness a performance from our Junior Silver Spurs Quadrille Team, as well as junior bull riding and barrel racing
