At their December 9 Board of Directors Meeting, 2020-2021 Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce Board Chair Adrianna Sekula of PureCycle Technologies passed the gavel to 2022 Chairman Kevin Crain, owner of Osceola Press – Printing & Signs. A second, ceremonial gavel exchange will take place at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on January 29, 2022 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Sekula took on the role of Board Chair in January 2020 when she was with Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts. She stayed on through 2021 to lead the Chamber out of the pandemic and transitioned to a new role as Chief of Staff at PureCycle Technologies in the Summer of 2021. During her tenure as Chair, she led the Chamber through a successful rebranding initiative, the results of which will be unveiled in 2022.
Kevin Crain has been the owner of Osceola Press – Printing & Signs since 1993. He has served on and chaired the Chamber’s Small Business Council Board of Directors and also lead the Leads Groups Steering Committee for two years, during which time leads activity saw significant growth. He has held the role of Vice-Chair of Membership for the Chamber’s Board of Directors for the past two years and will officially assume the Chairman’s role on January 1, 2022.
At the December 9 meeting, the board also recognized departing board members Monica Chavero with Resource Management, Inc., LaVell Monger with RTW Photography, and Joel Ferguson with Edward Jones.
Serving Osceola County since the early 20th Century, the mission of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce is to be champions for business and community. Earlier this year, the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber was named “Chamber of the Year” by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals.
