Three people are dead from an apparent murder-suicide on Troy Court in the Sandalwood Mobile Home park on Boggy Creek Road in St. Cloud, west of Narcoossee Road, Osceola Sheriff Marcos Lopez said in a conference Tuesday evening.
“This is a horrific tragedy here today, what we’ve discovered. It appears to be a murder-suicide,” Lopez said at the start of the news conference.
Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez said that around 2:30 pm, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a grandmother, who said she found her she found her grandson dead. Upon arriving at the home, deputies discovered 2 additional persons dead, which the Sheriff said they suspect to be the grandson’s mother and her boyfriend.
Lopez shared during a news conference that it was likely the bodies were inside the home at least a day based on their conditions. “We’re waiting on the ME (medical examiner) to positively identify them to make a release and give the exact cause of death.”
According to the Sheriff, the boyfriend has been living in the home since August, and there have been no reports of past domestic violence. He went on to say that there was no sign that a gun was used, and that currently investigators did not say how the victims died.
