Osceola deputies say they were called to a Kissimmee apartment complex early this morning for a well-being check, instead, they found three people dead, one being a child. Two of the deceased were found in one apartment building and the third was located in another apartment building.

Kevin Christopher Torres, a person of interest in the triple homicide, has been arrested by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Torres was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries not related to his interaction with law enforcement.

Torres has been arrested on charges of Grand Theft Auto and Armed Burglary to an Occupied Dwelling.

There are currently no other outstanding suspects in the homicide case. The identities of the victims will not be released until all family members have been notified.

According to Sheriff Marcos Lopez, it is believed that none of the homicide victims are related to the person of interest.
