LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. Walt Disney World Resort is preparing for an exciting year ahead, announcing a wide range of new attractions, refreshed experiences, live entertainment, and returning seasonal events set to debut throughout 2026.

The newly released details outline a full calendar of offerings designed to appeal to families, thrill-seekers, and longtime Disney fans, with enhancements planned across all four theme parks and beyond.

New and Updated Attractions

Early 2026 will bring updates to EPCOT’s popular Frozen Ever After, featuring enhanced Audio-Animatronics for Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff that offer smoother movement and more expressive details.

At Magic Kingdom, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is scheduled to reopen following an extensive refurbishment, while Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will debut refreshed ride vehicles and upgraded interactive features, improving gameplay and guest engagement.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will see several notable additions, including Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, a reimagined version of the fan-favorite attraction that places the beloved Muppets at the center of the high-speed adventure.

Star Wars fans can also look forward to a new storyline coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, featuring an original mission centered on The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Entertainment and Family Experiences

Live entertainment remains a major focus in 2026. Hollywood Studios will introduce Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, a new stage show featuring Mickey, Minnie, and friends in a high-energy, interactive format designed for younger audiences.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Bluey and Bingo will make special appearances in interactive experiences that encourage imaginative play inspired by the animated series, blending character encounters with themed activities.

EPCOT will also debut Soarin’ Across America, a limited-time version of the popular attraction celebrating iconic U.S. landscapes as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Seasonal Events and Festivals

Many of Disney’s most popular seasonal events are set to return in 2026, including the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts early in the year, followed by the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival in the fall.

Holiday favorites such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney Jollywood Nights, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will once again bring seasonal décor, themed entertainment, and special food offerings to the parks.

Summer Fun and Resort Perks

The summer season will feature Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, a slate of family-focused activities across the parks, along with the return of water-park perks for select resort guests. Special after-hours events at Disney’s water parks will also offer nighttime entertainment, music, and themed experiences.

In addition, Disney plans to continue offering expanded guest benefits in 2026, including dining incentives for families staying at Disney Resort hotels.
