Positively Osceola asked a number of positive leaders in the community to share their hope and their plans for the new year, and how we can encourage and support each other in 2022.  We asked Davi Seery, Owner/Operator Sweet Spot Snoballs to share her hope and outlook for 2022.

The start of a new year is always reason enough to be hopeful, at least I’ve always thought so. With the day-to-day operations buttoned up for the season, things are a little slower for me until our Spring kick-off in March. It’s a time I have learned to be grateful for as it allows me to reflect, renew, and reconnect. These days are filled with family and friends, church and community events, and supporting Harmony Longhorn wrestling as schedules allow. Hook em’ Horns!

It’s full days and full hearts catching up in relationships that sometimes get neglected with the busyness of operating our business. With the extra time to reflect, how could I not be hopeful? Two years ago we were just hoping to get by. We survived 2020 and thrived in 2021, thanks to incredible customers & community that were determined to see us through. Because of others, we held on! So many folks pushed themselves out trying to achieve normal again, mindful of local businesses and wanting to support. In addition to that local base that we’ve enjoyed since opening in 2017, we’ve met so many newcomers this past year. Somehow in spite of the incredible growth, many come here to call St. Cloud home because it feels small and friendly.

I’ve heard it time and again and I’m always amazed that people still feel it. How could we not have great days ahead of us? There are still things to achieve at Sweet Spot and corners to round. We are talking and dreaming about where we go from here. One thing is for sure, we wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else.

Let’s keep investing in one another and in the place we call home.
