Deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 23-year-old woman on Tuesday in connection with a shooting that took place on August 4 inside a Kissimmee motel.
The victim, who was found shot multiple times in a room at the Knights Inn in Kissimmee on August 4, was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said they identified and arrested 23-year-old Ruby Ortiz charging her with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony, Improper Display of a Firearm, Discharging a Firearm in public, and Failure to Appear for No Valid Driver’s License.
She is being held at the Osceola County jail with zero bond.
