A crash along Landstar Boulevard in Orange County on Tuesday killed one man and injured two others after one of the vehicles crossed over a median striking the other vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP reported that a 71-year-old Kissimmee man was driving north on Landstar Boulevard when he lost control and drove over the median into the southbound lanes crashing into the side of oncoming southbound SUV.

The 71-year-old man was taken to the HCA Florida in Kissimmee where he was pronounced dead.

The 39-year-old driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening serious injuries, and the other passenger in the SUV, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to Nemours Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

This crash remains under investigation.
