One man was killed and another was seriously injured in a head-on crash Saturday morning in Davenport, FHP reported.
Just after 11 am, a van heading west on Osceola Polk Line Road, near Old Lake Wilson Road, for an unknown reason veered into the eastbound lane and struck an SUV heading east.
The 73-year-old Davenport man driving the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
The 41-year-old Orlando man driving the van was seriously injured, according to the crash report. He was taken by helicopter to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
The roadway was blocked after the accident until just after 5 pm when tow trucks cleared the roadway.
The crash remains under investigation.
