ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Health Children’s Arnold Palmer Hospital has been recognized as the top hospital in Florida for pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery, earning the distinction in Newsweek’s America’s Best Children’s Hospitals 2026 rankings.
The hospital also ranked 35th nationally in pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery, placing it among the nation’s leading children’s hospitals for specialized heart care.
The annual rankings, developed by Newsweek in partnership with global data and research firm Statista, evaluate hospitals across eight pediatric specialties, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, neonatology, pulmonology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and orthopedics.
The rankings are based on a comprehensive evaluation that includes recommendations from more than 10,000 pediatric healthcare professionals, hospital quality metrics, patient satisfaction scores, and the implementation of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).
“This recognition reflects the extraordinary skill, compassion and commitment of our physicians, nurses and team members who provide world-class heart care for children every day,” said Justin Williams, president of Orlando Health Children’s Arnold Palmer Hospital. “To be ranked among the nation’s best and recognized as the No. 1 pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery program in Florida is an incredible honor.”
