During the second week of April, telecommunications personnel, as in 911 dispatchers, in the public safety community, are celebrated and honored. It’s called National Public Safety Telecommunications Week.

This week-long event is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public so professionally and passionately.

An estimated 240 million calls are made to 9-1-1 in the U.S. each year and these dedicated professionals are there to take the call. Big shout out to St. Cloud Police Department, for allowing us to meet some of these amazing individuals who make a Positive Difference in St. Cloud every day and night!

We also thank 911 dispatchers from Kissimmee and Osceola County. You are all amazing and we thank each and every one of you!
