The Fourth and final qualifying Toho Marine & Outdoors – Bartow Ford Elite Team Trail Series tournament was held Saturday, August 17th out of Camp Mack on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. Fifty one Teams launched from the docks at safelight in search of a 5 fish limit before weigh-in at 3PM.

Must have been a tough day on the water for some. Eighteen teams didn’t show up to the scales and the total weights were down by 12 pounds from just the month before. The July winners had over 40 pounds! Over $8,000 was paid out among 10 teams. The winning team that took home the top prize of $ 3780 was the duo of Ramsey Brown and Justin Price with a total of 28.75 pound after a ½ pound penalty for one dead fish. These young men caught them early and was fighting to keep one alive at the docks just before weigh-in.

The BIG Fish of the day was landed by Micah Silverman. A nice 8.73 pound Trophy Catch Florida Qualifier. He earned a bonus check of $500 for his catch!

10th Place George Short and Austin Disbro (19.59lbs)

The next and final tournament will be the Classic Championship on Lake Okeechobee in November. Only the teams that participated in 3 out of the 4 tournaments held this season qualify.
